Tirsbæk Estate
The Vejle Guides have reached an agreement with the estate’s owner and are able to arrange tours to Tirsbæk Estate. The buildings go back to the 1500s and were raised by Iver Lunge. In the 1700s it was rebuilt, and the large terraced renaissance garden was added. Today the garden also includes what is called a “walled garden” for the growing of e.g. vegetables, as it is known from estates in Great Britain. The present owner is the great grandson of H.N. Andersen, the founder of ØK who owned the estate. It is driven today as a combination of agriculture and forestry together with other activities. There is also a restaurant. Book in good time and not during harvest.

Food Tour – Deluxe
On this whole day bus trip we visit food and drink producers and/or specialty shops which you would like to visit. Everything is possible. We have a gourmet lunch in an interesting and innovative restaurant and have an interesting and inspiring evening meal in a unique restaurant. This tour is for the really interested who want to have unique experience. Be aware and order in good time. Many gourmet places must be booked a good time in advance, often even more than a year.
